Py AI Community Events

We're launching Py AI, a series of events bringing together people building with Python and AI. Each event features lightning talks, live demos, and networking. The kind of conversations that happen when practitioners get together.

We're kicking things off with meetups in San Francisco, New York, and London, followed by a conference early in 2026.

Hosted by Pebblebed on November 11th, 5-8pm PST.

Guests include:

  • Samuel Colvin - Co-founder & CEO at Pydantic
  • Reducto & Modal teams speaking about document processing with distributed Python infrastructure
  • Adam Azzam - Co-founder & CTO at FastMCP on orchestrating AI workflows and MCP
  • Michael Moore - from SentinelOne on writing quality MCP using coding assistants

After the talks, stick around for open discussion and networking.

Hosted by Clay on November 21st, 6-9pm EST.

We're interested in hearing from the community. Whether you're dealing with MCP, distributed infrastructure, or just trying to ship something that works, these events are for you. Join us to connect, learn, and share your experiences building with Python and AI.

Who should attend?

Python developers building with AI frameworks, working on agentic systems, or integrating LLMs into production applications. If you're working with tools like Pydantic, MCP, LangChain, or distributed compute infrastructure, these events are for you.

What's the format?

Each event (except the conference) runs for around 2 to 3 hours with 4 or 5 lightning talks (10-15 minutes each), followed by open networking. Talks will focus on practical implementation details, not high-level theory.

Do I need to prepare anything?

No preparation required. Bring questions about your current projects if you want specific feedback during networking sessions.

Is there a cost?

All events are free. Registration is required due to venue capacity.

Will talks be recorded?

Events will not be recorded and attendance is in-person only.

Can I propose a talk?

Not for these initial meetups. The February conference will have an open call for proposals. Subscribe to the Pydantic Luma calendar for updates.

What if I can't make it in person?

If you have signed up and cannot make it to the event, please withdraw your registration as spaces are limited. If you want to join, but you're not in town, subscribe to our Luma calendar to learn about future event announcements.
