Seventy people, one Saturday, and whatever the teams could get working before the demos started at 8pm. {Tech: Europe} ran the day with Conduct and Google DeepMind, teams formed after the 10am opening, and the awards went out at 8:45pm before the room emptied at 9:30.

Talking about agents is easy. Getting one to do something useful by sundown is the interesting part, which is why the day was built around a single deadline rather than a series of talks.

Pydantic was a technology partner alongside Modal, so teams had credits to spend on the day. Teams reached for Pydantic AI when they wanted an agent framework that stays out of the way, and Logfire when they needed to see what their agent actually did instead of guessing from a transcript.

Samuel Colvin and Laís Carvalho were there from Pydantic for the day, on hand for misbehaving agents and arguments about how they should be built.

Founders, pre-founders, engineers, researchers, students, PMs, designers and GTM people all came. Spots were limited to 70, and tickets went through approval.
