The Opportunity
Pydantic Validation is downloaded 1 billion times a month, and Pydantic AI is fast becoming a default for building agents. A small marketing team turns that reach into demand for Pydantic Logfire, our commercial product. Today that team runs the whole stack itself, from strategy down to the last mile of getting work out the door. The last mile is where we need you.
You'll be the person who makes marketing ship: building and sending campaign emails, running webinars end to end, coordinating events, producing social and landing-page assets, and keeping the calendar moving so nothing slips. Product marketing and DevRel set the direction. You make it reach developers on time and looking sharp.
This is an associate role, and a broad one. You'll touch campaigns, content, events, and the tools behind them, and watch what you make go out to one of the largest developer audiences in the world, usually within the week. It's the fastest way we know to learn developer marketing end to end.
You'll report to our Director of Product Marketing, with a dotted line to DevRel for events, channel, and partnership work. There's room to own more as you grow into the role.
What You'll Do
- Build and ship marketing emails and campaigns in Customer.io: production, testing, and scheduling, so every send goes out clean and on time
- Own the logistics for our digital events, the online workshops and webinars: registration pages, reminder sequences, run-of-show, day-of coordination, and follow-up
- Support DevRel on in-person events, channel activities, and partner co-marketing: prep, asset production, and keeping the moving pieces on track
- Produce and schedule social posts and campaign assets for LinkedIn and X, keeping the voice and formatting consistent
- Own the marketing calendar: track launches, deadlines, and owners across product marketing and DevRel so nothing slips
- Support customer marketing: help source customer logos, reference candidates, and case-study leads from our user base
- Keep marketing templates and assets organized and reusable, so the team isn't rebuilding from scratch each campaign
- Pitch in wherever a campaign needs to get out the door: formatting blog posts, prepping landing pages, light copy edits, and general production
Who You Are
- Early-career and eager to do the work: you want to build and ship marketing, not just plan it
- Organized to a fault: you keep multiple campaigns, deadlines, and owners straight without dropping any of them
- A careful writer: you can draft an email or a social post that sounds like us and get the small details right
- Comfortable marketing to developers: you don't need to code, but you'll learn our products well enough to write about them without hand-waving
- Quick with tools: you pick up new platforms fast (email, CMS, social schedulers, analytics) and lean on AI tooling for drafting, research, and the repetitive parts
- Bias to shipping: you'd rather get a strong version out on time than a perfect one late
- Bonus: marketing experience at a developer tools, infrastructure, or B2B SaaS company; familiarity with Customer.io or a similar platform; event or webinar coordination; a basic grasp of funnels and campaign metrics
About Us
Pydantic Validation is the data validation library that powers modern Python development: 1 billion downloads per month, used by virtually every tech company you've heard of. We're applying the same engineering mindset to Pydantic Logfire, our observability platform with first-class support for AI engineering, and Pydantic AI, our rapidly growing agent framework.
We commit over 20% of our engineering team to our open source ecosystem, build on open standards (OpenTelemetry, SQL, Postgres), and are backed by Sequoia Capital. We run a fully remote team across the US, Canada, and Europe with regular in-person offsites.
How We Work
- Developers come first: we built the most downloaded Python library in the world by earning developer trust, not by chasing growth. That's how we expect marketing to work here too.
- Fully remote: distributed across the US, Canada, and Europe, async by default, together in person three times a year.
- Autonomy with a bias to action: small teams with real ownership. We hire people we trust and then trust the people we hire.
