Choose your path

Logfire does a lot, and the right first pages depend on what you’re trying to do. Pick the description below that sounds most like you. Each on-ramp is a short, ordered path (a handful of links with a sentence on why each one matters) that takes you from nothing to seeing real value.

Not sure? If you want the fastest route from zero to seeing your own app, start with the solo builder path.

I’m…

AI engineer

You’re building an app or agent on top of a large language model (an LLM, the AI that generates text), and you want to see what it’s actually doing: the conversations, the tool calls, the tokens (the units a model bills by), the cost, and whether the answers are any good.

Backend engineer or SRE

You run services and you want to know when they’re slow or failing, watch requests as they happen, and build the dashboards and alerts that tell you about problems before your users do. (SRE stands for site reliability engineer, the person who keeps production healthy.)

Platform or security engineer

You care about where the data lives, who can log in, what sensitive information gets stripped before it leaves your machines, and what it all costs. You might also need to run Logfire on your own infrastructure.

Product or growth

You want to change behavior without shipping code: turn features on and off, run experiments, and understand how people use what you’ve built.

Solo builder

It’s just you and your app. You want the shortest possible path from zero to seeing your app in Logfire, with as little jargon as possible.
